About the role
The Manager, Commercial Finance leads a team responsible for developing and maintaining key financial models for the university. The role involves collaborating with senior leaders to provide expert financial advice, support decision-making, and enhance commercial operations. The manager will also work with the Finance Business Partnering team during budgeting and forecasting and contribute to strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of financial models.
2. Provide training on financial models and their application.
3. Collaborate with senior leaders to deliver valuable financial advice.
4. Identify financial management challenges and advise on effective solutions.
5. Lead financial modeling for Tuition Revenue and local planning.
6. Assess opportunities for expanding commercial operations, including partnerships.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting.
* CA/CPA level qualifications.
* Proven experience in financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting.
* Strong understanding of financial principles and decision-making application.
* Experience in initiating and managing change.
