The ServiceNow ITOM / CMDB Architect/Senior Consultant role is accountable for all aspects of the technical solution and implementation from initiation through closeout of Accelerate ITS ITOM / CMDB projects.ResponsibilitiesServe as primary technical point-of-contact for projectsAct as key interface between the Accelerate ITS development team and the customerDefine technical solutions for architecture and design that are aligned with clients' business problems and ServiceNow ITOM / CMDB implementation best practicesCollaborate with Business Functional team members to write/estimate storiesOversee developers' work, and own overall quality and delivery of developmentCapable of executing hands-on development for stories that cannot be delegatedResponsible for sprint demos, delivery of additional development artifacts and documentation, and knowledge transfer activities as requiredProvide mentorship to developers and platform engineers on technical design standards and best practicesProactively maintain expert knowledge and understanding of the latest ServiceNow platform and product offeringsMaintain expert knowledge of the ServiceNow ITOM / CMDB Products; Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Orchestration, Cloud Management, including ServiceNow Common Service Data ModelMaintain expert knowledge of ITOM and interactions with other ServiceNow Products such as Incident, Change, Problem and Asset ManagementResearch partner or vendor solutions to advise on optimal tools for integrations to meet client requirementsContribute to the continual improvement of Delivery processes and the maturing of the ITOM / CMDB practiceDiligently and accurately track and record all time and keep calendar up-to-date with scheduled activitiesOther duties and responsibilities as assignedWhat you'll bring to the tableProven consulting experience as a key technical resource leading the development and delivery of ITOM / CMDB solutions in client environmentsExpert level proficiency in ITOM / CMDB product line including current ITOM / CMDB CIS certification(s)Knowledge of ITIL, minimum foundation level, ideally higherExperience with key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions including: SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, SOAP, SCP, FTPSExperience with scripting in the ServiceNow platform using JS: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, UI Pages, Angular JS etcAbility to listen, interpret, strategize and consult on complex business processes and technical conceptsDemonstrated ability to influence and consult with clients, translating technical strategies to business outcomes and business outcomes to technical strategiesExcellent interpersonal skills, customer centric attitude, and situational awarenessOutstanding verbal, written and presentation skillsProven team player and team builderStrong ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in all work effortsSuperior maturity, professionalism, and judgment; ability to excel with minimum supervisionExperience with SDLC processes implementing in a variety of project methodologies: waterfall, iterative, Secure, Agile/ScrumRequired Qualifications5+ years working on the ServiceNow platformWorking knowledge of IT Operations Management and CMDB Processes (Event Management, Discovery, Service Mapping, CMDB/CSDM, Cloud Management, Orchestration)Ideal Candidate Qualifications5+ years working on the ServiceNow platformDegree or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science or Information TechnologyServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist for one or more of the ITOM productsServiceNow pre-sales accreditations in applicable product lines (Platform/ITOM/CMDB)ITIL Foundations CertificationEligibilityWhich of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?
