About the Role
In this role, the Law Clerk will assist across our four main practice areas: commercial litigation, property, construction, and insurance law.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:
* Answering incoming new enquiries from potential clients
* Preparing court forms eg consent orders, subpoenaes etc.
* Drafting wills, leases and other basic legal documents
* Electronic filing in all courts
* Managing client documents and client court folders
* Basic legal research
* Preparing PEXA workspaces for property matters
* Preparing online probate applications
* Basic account work
We are happy to accept applications from experienced law clerks as well as law students who have at least 2 years to complete their degree. Ideally we are looking to hire some one full time, but we would consider applicants who can only work 4 days a week. If you are talented and hard working, this position could later transition into a grad role.
