We are partnering with a progressive inner-west Melbourne council delivering a $200M+ capital works program. This role is ideal for an experienced Civil Project Manager with a strong background in large-scale sewer infrastructure projects, with road projects to follow mid-year.
The Role
You will lead the delivery of major sewer construction works as part of a large capital program, managing projects from planning through to completion. The role requires strong on-site leadership, contractor management, and public-sector delivery experience.
Site Presence
* 2 days per week on site at 7am (rostered) for the next 2 months
* Remaining days standard business hours
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end delivery of major sewer infrastructure projects ($40M–$200M)
* On-site management of contractors, consultants, safety, quality, and program
* Superintendent's Representative duties
* Procurement, tendering, contract administration, and reporting
* Governance, change control, and stakeholder management
About You
* Proven experience managing large sewer construction projects in Australia
* Background across local government, water authorities, consultancies, or Tier contractors
* Strong on-site delivery and contractor management experience
* Experience delivering major civil, road, and/or building projects
* Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or Project Management
* White Card and Victorian Driver's Licence
