, our senior sparkies all started as apprentices and now lead projects, run teams, and love what they do. MAP Electrical is a Sydney-based award-winning lighting and electrical team known for quality projects and down-to-earth mentoring.
From day one, you'll be hands-on, learning the ropes on beautiful homes, gardens, and lighting installs. While studying for your Certificate III at TAFE, you'll be part of a team that teaches you properly and has your back.
What you'll do:
Help install lighting and electrical systems on residential and garden projects
Set up tools, materials, and safety gear for each job
Keep sites tidy, safe, and ready for use
Test systems and assist senior sparkies with repairs and maintenance
Ask questions, try current tasks, and learn something every week

You'll start on the applicable Award rate, with a pay review after 6 months.

Requirements (who you are)
You are curious, reliable and love to learn. Your mindset is 'let's find a solution', and you show up with pride in your stride. You'll need a White Card or be ready to get one, plus a licence, and a car to get to sites. We'll teach you the rest!
TAFE starts in February, with enrolments mid-January. Start with us early, get a head start, and we'll handle your official sign-up with our partner
