Overview
Opportunity to join a large, well-established national electro-technology company with a varied pipeline of national major projects (commercial, defence, health, education, industrial). The company wishes to appoint two BIM Specialists to be part of a close-knit team working on projects such as data centres, hospitals, universities, airports, commercial projects, and defence projects.
Responsibilities
The development of BIM models to produce 2D drawings and images for presentations and project submissions
The development of BIM models to assist in clash detection with other trades
Establishing and enhancing relationships with key project stakeholders
Skills and experience required
Appropriate tertiary qualifications with practical experience on large-scale construction projects and a proven track record in MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing) ideally
BIM experience in one or more of the following disciplines: electrical, mechanical and/or plumbing
Excellent Revit skills (building and modelling families in Revit and related items)
While BIM and Revit experience in the electrical space is preferred, candidates from architectural backgrounds with commercial (not solely residential) project experience, plus some MEP, Revit and clash detection experience, will be considered
This is a full time and permanent role with versatile start and finish times, e.g., 7:00–15:30, 7:30–16:00, 8:00–16:30, or 8:30–17:00.
