Job Description
We are seeking a technically minded Product Manager to own and grow a specialist portfolio of bearings and driveline components within the automotive aftermarket.
This is a niche product role suited to someone who understands rotational and driveline components, values data accuracy and fitment integrity and enjoys working closely with suppliers, sales teams and technical stakeholders. You don't need to be a career "Product Manager"- strong technical knowledge and commercial curiosity are essential.
What You'll Do
* Own the end‐to‐end product lifecycle for bearings and driveline ranges
* Identify range gaps, build business cases and deliver new product launches
* Work closely with suppliers on pricing, costs, MOQs and trading terms
* Ensure accurate product setup, fitment and catalogue data across systems
* Analyse sales data, market trends and competitor activity
* Support sales teams with product knowledge, training and launch information
* Act as a key contact for technical or warranty-related product issues
* Collaborate with marketing, supply chain and inventory teams
Qualifications
What We're Looking For
* Experience in a technical product, category, engineering or aftermarket role
* Strong understanding of bearings, driveline or related automotive components
* Knowledge of fitment, applications and catalogue accuracy
* Analytical, detail‐focused and commercially aware
* Confident communicator who can translate technical detail clearly
* Experience working with suppliers and internal stakeholders
Tertiary qualifications are advantageous but not essential — technical credibility matters most.
