About the role
Reporting to the business GM, with a dotted functional reporting line to Group CFO, you will be the financial "go‑to" for the site operation, responsible for:
* Owning end‑to‑end Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes to a high standard (billing accuracy, collections, supplier payments, reconciliations).
* Leading month‑end close (journals, accruals, reconciliations), management reporting, and variance analysis with insights that drive action.
* Contributing to budgeting, forecasting and cashflow; tracking performance against targets and recommending corrective measures.
* Driving process and business improvement initiatives—standardising workflows, tightening controls, and eliminating inefficiencies.
* Providing commercial business partnering to the GM and Group Finance Team on pricing support, job costing, margin analysis, and capital expenditure reviews.
* Leading and developing a small finance/admin team; setting expectations, coaching, and fostering accountability.
* Ensuring compliance and governance across policies, tax, payroll inputs, credit risk, and external audit requirements.
Typical hours are Monday to Friday with standard business start/finish times. This is an on‑site role based in Yatala.
