Overview:
As a Senior SOE Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of delivering and enhancing our Standard Operating Environment (SOE) and endpoint management capabilities. This pivotal role not only supports our overarching goal of providing exceptional service but also empowers you to lead initiatives that foster innovation and efficiency. You will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality workplace experience that drives our mission to make a positive difference in people's lives.
Required Skills:
* Extensive experience in IT, particularly in desktop environments, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior role within a 24x7 enterprise setting.
* Proven expertise in deploying and administering Microsoft workplace solutions, including M365, Entra, and Intune.
* Advanced knowledge in application packaging and deployment (Win32/PSADT) and endpoint management processes.
* Strong understanding of security protocols and compliance measures, including experience defining and maintaining security update cycles.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of resolving complex IT issues in fast-paced environments.
* Exceptional documentation skills, ensuring clarity in SOE standards, build guides, and change control procedures.
Nice to Have Skills:
* Industry-recognized technical certifications related to Microsoft technologies or desktop environment management.
* Experience in driving workplace technology transformation projects aligned with strategic objectives.
* Familiarity with Autopilot provisioning standards and practices.
* Knowledge of collaboration tools, employee communication platforms, and remote working technologies.
Preferred Education and Experience:
* A tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related field is required; postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded.
* Demonstrated experience in stakeholder engagement and managing project initiatives to successful completion.
