**Description**:
About the Role
The Transport Driver will ensure adequate transport schedules are delivered to increase efficiency across the service. This position will contribute to continual improvement projects with regards to client safety, client wait time, staff downtime and vehicle maintenance.
Duties
- Manage patient movement, transport, and best clinical outcomes in accordance with qualifications, scope, and authority to practice under the ATSICHS oversight framework.
- Assist and follow direction for direct clinical care from senior team member.
- Follow operational directions from dispatch team to ensure efficient and timely response to requests for service from key stake holders to meet KPI's.
- Oversight of vehicle maintenance and cleaning schedules and processes.
- Assist with the administration functions of the office including answering the phone, assisting with client administration, general administration tasks, maintaining the tidiness of the office, assisting with transporting goods and supplies, and any other ad hoc task as directed by the Program Manager.
- Coordinate care with other team members to provide a thorough, holistic care model for the clients.
- Maintain clean and neat appearance.
- Previous experience within the disability, aged care or patient transport services is highly regarded.

**Skills and Experiences**:
COVID - 19 Requirements
- Immunisation history showing you have received two doses of a Covid 19 vaccine is encouraged.
Required
- Hold an unrestricted C class driver's licence and drive in a safe and reasonable manner.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and understand the cycle of care patient system.
- Interpersonal communication skills that demonstrate your ability to problem solve and negotiate positive outcomes.
- Ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and their leaders, respecting traditional culture and ways of doing business.
Desirable
- Transport experience in a Primary Health setting.
- Previous experience working in an administration and / or service coordination role.
- Demonstrated organisation skills, including an ability to multi-task, to plan, set and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines, and to work independently, efficiently and effectively.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills with a focus on client focused outcomes.
