Job Title:
Care Manager - Overnight Respite Service
About the Role:
The Care Manager will lead a passionate and dedicated team to deliver high-quality care in an overnight respite service. This is a full-time position responsible for the management and direct care of clients' individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team to deliver HammondCare's model of care with its overnight respite service.
* Work closely with the Head of Clubs and Cottages to recruit, mentor, and lead staff.
* Manage budgets, ensure quality, and oversee technical aspects of care provision.
* Provide professional leadership and individualized care to clients.
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Aged Care and 2 years relevant industry experience.
* Preferred clinical registration, but can be supported by internal resources.
* Demonstrated ability to build supportive relationships with clients.
* Knowledge of Commonwealth Home Support Program Manual and other related guidelines.
* Experience managing teams in a multi-site environment.
* Current drivers license and willingness to travel between sites.
* Strong administrative and computer skills.
* Empathy, compassion, and interest in helping those in need.
