Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will oversee project planning, execution, and closure, ensuring contractual profitability and obligations are met.
You will provide technical, administrative, and HSEQS support to Supervisors, fostering collaboration with internal and external resources to meet project objectives.Key Accountabilities Onsite project delivery aligned with the overall program to cost and time, with resources needed to achieve high client satisfactionIdentify and assess project risk and implement strategies to mitigate riskApply technical skills to resolve design challenges and identify value engineering opportunitiesCost and forecast control to assist project managers with strategic planningLead, develop and manage large project teams on the groundBuild effective and collaborative relationships to coordinate activities with supervisorsMaintain quality, environmental, and safety systems across the projectRequired Skills And Competencies Bachelor's degree in civil engineeringDemonstrated experience leading a team on a major rail or infrastructure projectExperience managing and developing long-term programs with contracts, cost forecasting, and management of a large team of engineersAdvanced communication skills and ability to build relationships with subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and client representativesStrong leadership ability to coach, mentor and manageEquality and Diversity ACCIONA has been given the Top Employer 2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 certification in Australia, which certifies the company's commitment to excellence in human resources management and those who focus on putting their people first through their exceptional HR policies.
