About the role
Join the team at Young Car Mart Australia as an Automotive Mechanic on a full-time basis in Young, NSW 2594. In this hands-on role, you will play a key part in delivering high-quality vehicle services and repairs to our valued customers, ensuring their cars are running safely and smoothly.
What you'll be doing
Diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle makes and models, including identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake inspections, and tyre rotations
Use diagnostic equipment and follow manufacturer specifications to repair and service vehicles
Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
Ensure a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all relevant safety procedures and regulations
Provide excellent customer service and clearly communicate repair recommendations and estimated costs
Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and tools to effectively carry out repairs and maintenance
A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
A valid driver's licence and the physical capability to perform the duties of the role
