This role is for an operational hands-on HR Generalist delivering end-to-end Human Resources best practice working across both offices in Shepparton and Albury.
The position operates with a high level of autonomy and is accountable for the day-to-day delivery of core HR services including recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration.
The primary HR contact acts as the main point of contact for managers and employees, ensuring timely and effective resolution of workplace matters while fostering a positive workplace culture.
The role plays a key part in supporting operational teams to build workforce capability, manage compliance, and apply HR policies consistently.
Required skills and qualifications include experience in an HR Advisory, Business Partner, or similar role, preferably within a heavy industry possessing practical knowledge of HR/IR operations, legislation, Enterprise Bargaining Agreements and Awards.
A deep expertise in employee relations is crucial, encompassing mediation, conflict resolution, and the ability to foster a positive workplace culture. Exceptional organisational skills are also necessary for managing multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
