Your responsibilities will include:
* In-house and on-site test programs, pioneering new methodologies
* Deep into metallurgical testing and analysis, uncovering insights that drive progress
* Metallurgical testing and analysis
* Process engineering teams during on-site commissioning
* Pilot plant equipment installations at customer sites
* Continuous improvement initiatives, constantly raising the bar for excellence
* Safety and regulatory compliance, ensuring our operations are at the forefront of responsibility
Requirements
You're not just a Metallurgist – you're a visionary, a problem-solver, and a leader. You bring:
* Degree in Metallurgy, Mineral Processing, Chemical Engineering, or similar field
* 2 years of experience in the mining industry as a Metallurgist
* Experience in Froth flotation and gold leaching processes are a must
* Analytical and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of laboratory equipment for sample preparation and metallurgical testing
* Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, AutoCAD
* English with excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong leadership abilities
* To work in Australia and a valid driver's license with the ability to travel
