Job Description

Lead the breakfast kitchen brigade supervising and setting a positive example for the team
Prepare and cook breakfast dishes according to recipes and quality standards
Ensure all food preparation and plating is executed efficiently and meets presentation guidelines
Maintain cleanliness and organization of breakfast station and kitchen areas in line with HACCP procedures
Assist in stock management and inventory control while managing costs
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones
Uphold and enforce strict health and hygiene standards
Keep all working areas clean and tidy and ensure all equipment is maintained, serviced and cleaned
Foster our culture of engagement within the culinary team with a focus on training and development, supported by theExecutive Chef and Sous Chef
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, specialising in breakfast service in a hotel environment advantageous
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a fast-paced service
A passion for quality ingredients, presentation, and delivering outstanding guest experiences
Strong knowledge of modern breakfast cooking techniques, recipes, and industry trends
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
Trade qualificationsfrom a culinary school.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Current unrestricted Australian working rights

A Full Time position with hourly rates of pay from $30.68 -$46.02 (HIGA Level 6)
