Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this is a hands-on position overseeing the full finance function. You will play a key role in driving financial strategy, ensuring robust controls, and delivering insightful reporting, while providing strong guidance to a Community focussed organisation. We are seeking an experienced accountant to lead our financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and taxation compliance. You will have the skills and judgement to work autonomously, as well as the adaptability to support colleagues in a collaborative environment.
Key Criteria:
* CA or CPA qualified with a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance or related field.
* Proven track record in developing finance teams
* Strong technical accounting and financial modelling experience
* Minimum of 3-5 years experience in financial management roles, ideally in a mid-sized, complex organisation
* Payroll oversight and operational knowledge
* Strategic and commercial acumen, with a hands-on approach to problem solving
