Private Nanny – Newborn Care (Broadbeach Waters, Gold Coast)
We are a young family in Broadbeach Waters seeking a kind, qualified, and experienced nanny to care for our 4-week-old baby boy.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who loves working with infants and is looking for a long-term role with a warm, supportive household.
About the Role
Your primary focus will be on the day-to-day needs of our newborn, including:
- Feeding and settling
- Nappy changes and nap routines
- Gentle stimulation during wake windows (songs, stories, tummy time)
- Supporting the baby’s overall wellbeing and development
Both parents will be working from home on the days required, so you’ll be part of a collaborative and respectful household.
We also have a small dog with anxiety, so you’ll need to be comfortable around pets.
The role will initially be for set weekdays each week, with the potential to increase to three days as our needs to return to work in a greater capacity increase next year.
The days will definitely be Thursday plus either a Tuesday or Wednesday or Friday.
We can be flexible with which is the second set day.
Qualifications & Requirements
We are seeking someone with:
- A valid Blue Card (Working With Children Check)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate
- Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Midwifery qualification and/or newborn experience is highly regarded
- A genuine love for babies, patience, and a nurturing nature
