Chandler Macleod is seeking a Shop Assistant for the Steggles Shop in Beresfield.
Delivering fresh poultry to local retailers and value-adding products to Quick Service Restaurants and food service customers, Baiada are leading the way in the industry through innovation and setting high standards around process and efficiency, which ensures they deliver millions of high-quality products every year.
About the role
The Shop Assistant role is responsible for:
* Front counter service - including point of sale, EFTPOS and cash handling
* Moving pallets with pallet jack
* Receiving deliveries and stocking shelves
* Packing and wrapping
* Filling customer orders
* General cleaning and maintenance of the store
This role is working around 16 hours per week.
About you
As a Shop Assistant, you will have retail experience from a previous role. In addition, you will bring:
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency (legally entitled to work in Australia)
* A current driver's license and reliable transportation
* The ability to follow work instructions and work autonomously
* Excellent physical fitness with no existing injuries, as manual handling is an integral part of the job
