Maintenance Fitter - Food Processing Plant
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Fitter to perform planned and breakdown maintenance on food processing equipment while ensuring employee safety and effective plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform routine maintenance tasks on food processing equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed;
* Investigate and diagnose faults in equipment to identify the root cause of problems;
* Carry out repairs and replacements using manual skills or assistive technology where necessary;
* Assist with the installation of new machinery or upgrades to existing equipment;
Requirements:
A Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical is essential for this role. Strong mechanical aptitude combined with problem-solving skills will be crucial in delivering high-quality results. We are looking for someone who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
