Overview
An exciting opportunity for an Account Executive has become available at our Perth branch, to join our talented Account Management team. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your goal is to maximise Border Express’ profile, increase share of wallet and ultimately build customer loyalty to ensure that retention and expansion is maximised.
Your responsibilities will include developing, expanding and solidifying long-term relationships with each customer that enable key business retention and expansion across the customer footprint and network. We are looking for an individual with a proven ability to foster long term customer relationships and assist in identifying and onboarding customer expansion opportunities. You will possess an analytical mindset, along with excellent presentation and communication skills. Those with previous experience in customer service or sales administration will find this role a strong pathway into Account Management.
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Commercial Team to onboard and monitor the customers\' retention and growth strategy.
- Maintain quality record keeping within the CRM tool for all customer engagements.
- Develop and cultivate relationships within your client portfolio and the wider client network.
- Be the voice for your portfolio internally, working collaboratively with operationals in identifying and developing innovative solutioning for how we can better solve customers’ problems.
- Champion a seamless customer experience by engaging with internal stakeholders to remove barriers or challenges in all aspects including accounts, customer service, service delivery & fulfilment.
- Completing reporting processes between BEX and the customer.
- Monitoring and comprehension of customers\' financial performance and trends in BEX across costs, pricing, and margins.
Skills and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in relationship management with diverse and challenging groups, including the ability to influence and communicate to achieve results.
- Analytical mindset and skillset.
- Strong organisation and planning skills.
- Good people skills and an ability to communicate with all levels within the business.
- Knowledge of industry services, technologies and latest developments - desirable.
- Understanding of the importance of consistent updates with the company CRM tool.
- Competency in the use of Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current motor vehicle and licence.
- Thrives in a team-oriented environment.
