About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Pathology Collector to join our team in the Healesville Area. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in pathology and will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients, including performing ECGs, Holter, and BP monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
* Collection of blood and other samples from patients
* Experience in ECGs and Holter monitors
* Experience in paediatric and neonatal collections
* Processing of pathology specimens
The ideal candidate will have venepuncture experience using the vacutainer method, basic computer skills, and the ability to work alone and participate in a weekend roster. They must also be able to communicate effectively with the team, referring doctors, and patients, and demonstrate a commitment to patient care and service delivery.
