About Our Client

The business specialises in diesel and hybrid generators, lighting towers, load banks and associated equipment, with a strong focus on safety, uptime and responsive field support, and is known for working closely with clients to design practical, cost-effective solutions that meet project schedules, site conditions and sustainability objectives.
About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Accounts receivable officer. This role is offering a Monday to Friday roster based in Perth.
Key Responsibilities Include
* Perform full accounts receivable function including receipting of cash, reconciliation of customer accounts, processing credit returns, communicating with customers to secure payments, updating of insurance details, review of customer credit limits and closure of accounts
* 60+ days to represent less than 1% of each officers ledger
* Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) for Australia to be 50 days or less
* Prevent losses associated with sales to customers that cannot be collected
* Accurately process bank transactions (receipting cash) for customers across the Australian business in line with customer supplied remittance
* Ensure all overdue accounts have been communicated to the customer as they fall overdue and have payment plans in place
* Perform customer credit approval process in-line with documented policies
* Update customer credit limits (or closure of credit accounts) in accordance with the risk they possess
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of credit returns in accordance with the DOA
* Updating of insurance coverage to reflect credit limits
* Ensure active accounts are trading with up to date credit application
Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:
* Well developed administrative skills
* Experience in accounts receivable processing
* Strong experience with Microsoft computer packages
* Good level of written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to correctly interpret and create documentation
* Ability to extract and analyse data and summarise findings
* Effective communication style to engage with suppliers, customers and other employees
* Knowledge of ERP systems (desirable)
