Die Cutting Operator
North Richmond
Turn flat sheets into brilliant finished products
Love machines, precision and seeing a job through from start to finish? If setting up, running and fine‐tuning die cutters is your thing, we want to hear from you.
We're on the hunt for a Die Cutting Operator who takes pride in quality, enjoys solving problems on the fly, and knows their way around a flatbed die cutting machine.
What you'll be doing
You'll be hands‐on from start to finish, including:
* Setting up and running die cutting machines like a pro
* Making sure every job meets quality and productivity targets
* Monitoring machines to keep them running smoothly
* Carrying out routine maintenance and daily equipment care
* Working closely with offsiders and the wider team to keep jobs flowing
* Jumping in to help train others when needed
Bottom line: you'll help turn printed sheets into finished products that look great and meet spec — every time.
What we're looking for
Good to have (but not limited to):
* Experience operating flatbed die cutting machinery
* Mechanical aptitude and a sharp eye for detail
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings
* Problem‐solving skills when things don't go exactly to plan
* Understanding of cutting, creasing and "pre‐make ready" processes
* Previous offsider or pre‐make ready experience (ideal but not essential if you've got the skills)
Safety matters here
You'll work in an environment where safety, housekeeping and quality come first. PPE, GMP, WHS procedures and looking out for your mates are all part of the job.
Why join us?
* Stable, long‐term role in a busy production environment
* Work with quality equipment and a supportive team
* Opportunity to grow your skills and cross‐train
* Be part of a workplace where your experience actually matters
Ready to cut loose?
If you're reliable, mechanically minded and proud of the work you produce, we'd love to meet you.
