Key Responsibilities:
* Build Meaningful Relationships: Establish trust and rapport with clients, families, and support networks to foster collaborative partnerships.
* Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Undertake Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBAs) to identify underlying causes and inform tailored interventions.
* Develop Individualised Support Plans: Create and implement Behaviour Support Plans that are evidence-based and aligned with relevant guidelines.
* Provide Education and Training: Equip carers and support teams with the knowledge and skills to implement strategies effectively and sustainably.
* Promote Positive Behaviour: Focus on reducing restrictive practices and enhancing quality of life through proactive support.
* Monitor and Evaluate Progress: Collect and analyse data to assess the effectiveness of interventions and make necessary adjustments.
About You:
We seek experienced professionals who hold a relevant bachelor's degree and have prior experience in community, private or acute settings. You must be endorsed as 'Proficient' or above against the PBS Capability Framework and have full Australian working rights. Additionally, you should have access to your own vehicle and hold a current driver's licence. A NDIS Workers Check and Working with children check are also required.
