Early Intervention Therapist
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Early Intervention Therapist to join our team.
You will play a crucial role in providing early intervention services to support children and families in maximising their independence and participation.
* Conducting standardized clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need.
* Providing information, education, and support to clients and families.
* Developing functional, routine-based goals with clients and families.
* Providing evidence-based therapy interventions and resources.
* Reviewing progress and setting new priorities in collaboration with clients and families.
* Supporting inclusion and participation in community activities.
* Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and ensuring ongoing communication and support.
* Focusing on continuous improvement through regular evaluation and review.

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA
* A passion for making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful for families.
* Excellent counselling skills and the ability to provide knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.
* Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is desirable.
* Compliance with necessary checks and certifications, including AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 vaccination certificate or exemption, First Aid Training, and possession of a Driver's License and Vehicle.
