About the Role
Sourcify is seeking a skilled Vehicle Painter to join a professional automotive repair and refinishing workshop in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing vehicles to a high standard, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Prepare vehicle surfaces by sanding, masking, and priming
* Mix and apply paints, varnishes, and protective finishes
* Perform colour matching and blending for repairs
* Operate spray-painting equipment and tools safely and efficiently
* Inspect finished work to ensure quality and accuracy
* Maintain equipment and work areas in clean and safe condition
Qualifications
* Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology (or equivalent)
* Proven experience as a Vehicle Painter or Spray Painter
* Strong knowledge of paint types, application techniques, and colour matching
* Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality finishes
* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
