As a Night Auditor you will be a critical part of the night operations of the hotel and will be responsible for creating a warm and personalised welcome experience for our guests overnight. In the absence of management, you will also ensure that the general safety and security of guests, staff and the property is maintained at all times.
Your expertise will enable you to provide VIP service to our guests. Your typical duties will include but won't be limited to:
- Welcoming our late arrival guests and farewelling our early departures.
- Managing daily reconciliation of hotel outlets and completing daily revenue postings.
- Preparing and distributing relevant reports to inter departments.
- Managing and confirming reservation details and accounts for in-house guests details ensuring all details are recorded accurately.
- Collating paperwork for departures and coordinate with the Front Office team.
- Providing supervision and support to the Front Office team and other departments when required.
- Responding to guest enquires and requests in a timely manner.
- Ensuring an effective handover of issues is conveyed at the start and end of each shift between Night Audit and Reception.
- Maximising guest satisfaction as well as the safety and security of the property.
- Attending to guests requests efficiently and effectively in order to ensure total customer satisfaction.
- Assist with and cover valet parking as required.
**Qualifications**
- ** M**ust hold an Australian drivers licence and have confidence in driving all types of vehicles**:
- Be a night owl who enjoys working alone
- Exceptional customer service & communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
- A hands-on team player with a can-do attitude
- Initiates contact and establishes rapport easily
- Willingness to take ownership and have the initiative to carry out different tasks as required
- A good understanding of finance and accounting practices
- The ability to coordinate multiple tasks whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
- Knowledge of Opera PMS is a bonus
- An ability to work 11:00pm to 7:00am and the flexibility to work weekdays, weekends and public holidays
