Senior Research Assistant Position
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Research Assistant to join our dynamic research team within the School of Medicine and Dentistry.
In this role, you will provide high-level research assistance on a range of health economics projects under the direction of the Senior Lecturer in Health Economics.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct applied research in health technology assessment and health economics aligned with project objectives.
* Develop and implement health economic cohort and microsimulation models.
* Support data design, collection, management, and preliminary analysis in line with research protocols.
* Assist with drafting scholarly articles, technical reports, and research publications.
* Supervise and mentor junior research staff and contribute to research training.
* Perform discrete event simulations, dynamic modelling, and health outcomes analyses.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A Master's degree in Health Economics or equivalent qualifications.
* Experience with health economics in the following clinical areas: cancer, diabetes, epilepsy, and rare diseases such as Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
* Strong skills in research data management and preliminary analysis.
* Experience in supervising or mentoring research staff is desirable.
* A proactive and collaborative approach, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a fixed-term full-time position primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast location. As Griffith is a multi-site university, you may be required to work across other locations.
