Queensland School Photography Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated school photography company that prides itself on delivering high-quality photography with a personalised approach. We are currently seeking an Casual School Photographer to join our vibrant team with a mid January start date.
While this is initially a casual role, there is potential for the position to develop into a part-time opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Capture high-quality school photographs, including individual, class, and group photos
* Provide exceptional customer service and interact with children of all ages in a professional, friendly manner
* Manage your schedule and workflow to meet deadlines and tight timelines
* Travel to regional locations Mackay & Cairns
* Set up and pack down photography equipment, including scaffolding, on a daily basis
* Work early mornings most days we arrive at schools between 6am-7am
What We’re Looking For:
* Customer Focus: Strong communication skills and a passion for interacting with children and school staff
* Attention to Detail: A sharp eye for detail to ensure every shot is perfect
* Adaptability & Calm Under Pressure: Ability to handle tight schedules and work in a fast-paced environment
* Physical Fitness: Comfortable with the physical aspects of the role, including lifting and moving equipment
* A Positive Attitude: Must be proactive, self-motivated, and have a \"can-do\" attitude
* Availability: Must be available up to 5 days a week, including occasional travel away from Townsville
Essential Requirements:
* Current Australian Driver’s Licence with a reliable car
* Working with Children Card (Blue Card) and a current police check, or the ability to obtain these
* Basic computer knowledge
* Must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident
* Previous experience in photography or working with children is highly desirable but not essential
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
