Pay Rate: $60.26 per hour + Super
Randstad is partnering with a large federal government organisation to find a Senior Video Producer (APS6) to lead their Digital Media team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality digital content across various platforms.
As a Senior Video Producer, you will play an integral role in providing in-house video production services, managing the filming, editing, and delivery of digital content.
You will be accountable for end-to-end planning and development, providing strategic advice, supervision, and mentoring to junior staff.
The role involves leading the planning, management, and delivery of video productions, with a focus on creating “social media first” content.
You will oversee technical and creative production requirements and manage governance processes, including briefs and approvals.
Your work will support the mission and purpose of the agency and be shaped by its values.
Key Selection Criteria
Essential Skills:
- Demonstrated experience leading and delivering end-to-end video production in a government or large organisational setting.
- High-level technical knowledge of video production workflows and software, with the ability to oversee quality and provide guidance.
- High-level communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to provide advice to senior staff.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead and manage team members and coordinate multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities.
- Proven ability to provide strategic advice on video content to meet organisational objectives and audience needs.
- Demonstrated knowledge of production documentation, workflows, and governance requirements (including video briefs, approvals, evaluation and reporting).
- High-level competency with the Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, and Media Encoder.
- Experience working within the disability sector or creating communications for people with a disability.
- Knowledge of Australian Government communication protocols, brand standards, and accessibility requirements.
- Familiarity with accessibility requirements for video content, including captions, transcripts, and Auslan integration.
- Proficiency with project management or content tracking tools and the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Working knowledge of copyright, consent, and usage rights for multimedia productions.
- Experience with animation and graphics for video.
- Experience with photography and studio environments.
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant experience in digital media, communications, or video production.
Desirable Skills:
