Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Civil Field Workers who are reliable and enjoy providing high-quality community infrastructure maintenance. This role requires a unique balance of physical labor and oversight, demanding a strong sense of teamwork, a commitment to safety, and the ability to ensure that all operations are conducted according to specific guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct general civil labouring tasks including concreting, kerb and channel work, drainage, road maintenance and debris removal.
* Interpret construction drawings to guide daily work activities.
* Perform steel fixing and formwork.
* Maintain safety protocols, identify hazards, and adhere to WHS procedures.
* Generate reports and documentation related to project progress.
* Operate machinery such as rollers, excavators, and skid steer.
* Audit and supervise subcontractors on site.

Requirements
* Proven background in civil construction, roadworks, or drainage.
* White Card (Work Safely in the Construction Industry) – current.
* Valid Manual Driver's License (MR/HR highly regarded).
* Zero harm safety mindset with experience in hazard identification and WHS procedures.
* Experience in general civil labouring tasks: concreting, kerb and channel work, drainage, road maintenance, debris removal.
Highly Regarded Skills
* Cert III in Civil Construction or equivalent trade experience.
* Contractor oversight: experience auditing or supervising subcontractors on site.
* Technical proficiency: steel fixing, formwork, and interpreting blueprints.
* Plant tickets: Roller, Excavator, or Skid Steer – proven operating experience.
* TMI/TMA: Traffic Management Implementation or Awareness.
