About the role

We're looking for a confident and highly skilled communications professional to join our team. In this role, our newest Account Manager / Senior Account Manager will bring an interest and ability in producing sound financial communications advice and collateral that supports clients across media relations, shareholder engagements, issues and crisis management and the production of financial reports. This extends to an ability and enthusiasm to engage with senior executives and directors of our clients and network in and across Western Australia's resources sector.

As an Account Manager / Senior Account Manager you will be adept at looking after our clients and managing our engagement budget, coordinating resourcing and guiding projects from start to finish. This dynamic role supports our Associate Directors and Directors while also offering the unique opportunity to work directly with our Executive Leads and CEO.

What you'll be doing

Producing and/or contributing to clear, confident and high‐quality financial communication that could include financial and operational summaries, ASX announcements, investor relations presentations, board reports and Annual and AGM content.

Leading the day‐to‐day management of client accounts - projects, meetings and budgets.

Developing and refining communication strategies that cut through and deliver impact.

Drafting high-quality written content reports.

Securing meaningful media opportunities and content

Preparing clients for media interviews and key speaking engagements.

Partnering with designers and suppliers to bring ideas and campaigns to life.

Supporting issues management with smart strategy and confident, timely responses.

Contributing to business development by opportunities, nurturing relationships.

Keeping accurate and timely daily entries to support project tracking and billing.

About you

You're a strategic thinker, strong communicator and natural relationship builder who thrives in a fast‐paced consulting environment. You bring curiosity, initiative and a proactive approach to solving client challenges. And you are just as comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting hands‐on with the work as you are working across diverse sectors, briefs and teams.

You'll bring:

5+ years of relevant industry experience in communications, PR, corporate affairs, marketing, journalism or a related field, with a particular focus on and interest in financial and/or business reporting or communications.

Tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, marketing, journalism or a related field (or equivalent experience).

A strong interest and capability in financial communication, with the confidence to supports clients across media relations, shareholder engagements, issues and crisis management and the production of financial reports.

Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences and channels.

Strong project coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high‐quality work at pace.

A collaborative, team‐focused approach, with the confidence to share ideas, provide recommendations and support colleagues.

Awareness of current affairs, industry trends and media landscapes, particularly within Western Australia and across the resources sector.

Confidence with Microsoft Office 365 and digital communication tools.

Established local networks or demonstrated ability to build and maintain meaningful professional relationships.
