Occupational Therapist Role
As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with psychosocial and mental health barriers to achieve their rehabilitation goals.
* Initial assessments, psychometric testing, and interventions to identify functional capacities and provide support for return to work.
* Conducting vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, and case management to facilitate successful employment outcomes.
* Collaborating with clients to develop tailored recovery plans and providing ongoing support throughout their journey.
* Assessing and reporting on psychological functional capacities, completing psychological functional assessments, and making recommendations on the impact of mental health conditions on ability to work.
* Documenting client progress and writing detailed reports to inform treatment decisions and future care planning.
* Providing Adjustment to Injury counselling and Vocational Counselling to support clients' psychosocial, medical, and return-to-work goals.
