About The Opportunity
We are seeking a Quality Control Coordinator to help ensure that our products continue to meet or exceed industry and customer standards. Liaising with our Production teams, Operations teams and management, you will monitor and develop quality assurance processes to identify and correct root causes of errors, minimise waste, improve overall efficiency and maintain compliance with relevant Australian Standards and company policies.
Responsibilities include:
* Investigate and correct any quality control issues
* Conduct daily testing of products for compliance
* Perform random quality checks
* Maintain quality control documentation and reports
* Ensure adherence to correct handling and manufacturing procedures
* Create and follow SOPs
About You
You will have an analytical mind, an eye for detail and a commitment to quality and safety. You will be comfortable working to defined procedures and processes but also able to identify potential areas for improvement. While not essential, candidates with a background, knowledge or experience in glass processing would be preferred.
You will also:
* Have experience in quality control, quality assurance and/ or quality system eg.AS,ISO (highly regarded)
* Have a naturally cooperative approach and be able to work with multiple internal teams
* Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Have demonstrable analytical and fault investigation skills
* Be proficient in MS Excel, Word and Outlook
* Be physically capable of performing the role (70% of the role is spent moving throughout the plant and inspecting products of varying weight)
* Be able to commit to working Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 4.00pm (though there can be flexibility on start/ finish times if required)
