Mobile Patient Care Role
This position involves providing high-quality patient-centred care and treatment during the transport of patients with a wide variety of medical conditions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing patient assessment and intervention on-road, providing patient care and treatment during on-road transport, developing and maintaining positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders, and assessing the effectiveness of interventions in accordance with relevant guidelines and regulations.
To be successful in this role, you will need qualifications as a Registered Paramedic or Division 1 Registered Nurse, current AHPRA registration (or pending approval for Paramedics), ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions, compassion, professionalism, and dedication to excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform patient assessments and provide appropriate interventions on-road
* Provide patient care and treatment during on-road transport
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with patients and stakeholders
* Assess the effectiveness of interventions in accordance with RFDS MPC guidelines and NEPT regulations
Requirements:
* Qualifications as a Registered Paramedic or Division 1 Registered Nurse
* Current AHPRA registration (or pending approval for Paramedics)
* Ability to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
