Job Overview
The primary role of an Accounts Receivable Officer is to manage customer accounts, process payments and ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Administering customer accounts including collections and invoicing.
* Making outbound calls to residents and their families to resolve issues.
* Processing of payments and handling any discrepancies.
* Reconciliation of accounts on a regular basis.
* Preparation of month end and ad hoc financial reports.
Requirements:
* Strong communication skills with both written and verbal correspondence.
* Ability to empathise with others and maintain respectful relationships.
* Experience in Accounts Receivable and knowledge of general accounting principles.
* Attention to detail and high degree of accuracy is essential for this role.
* Confidence to have transparent discussions and negotiate with residents and their families.
* Ability to work to deadlines and meet financial targets.
