About the Role
We are seeking a Part-Time Duty Manager to join the team. This is a dynamic role, leading our FOH team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. In this key leadership role, you'll coordinate and oversee the daily operations of the hotel in the absence of the Hotel Manager, ensuring everything runs smoothly and professionally. With a strong focus on Front Office operations, you'll play a vital part in maintaining hotel security, supporting team performance, and driving profitability across departments.
Skills & Experience
* 2-3 years of experience in a duty manager role or similar within a branded or independent hotel.
* The ability to lead hotel operations in the absence of senior management, ensuring smooth and professional service delivery.
* Strong understanding of Front Office operations, including rostering, guest arrivals/departures, and team coordination.
* Demonstrated experience in managing hotel security, guest complaints, and incident reporting with a solution-focused approach.
* Skilled in driving occupancy and revenue through effective rate management and collaboration with key departments.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships across departments and with guests.
* Ability to promote hotel features and services, cultivating a strong sales culture and enhancing guest experience.
* Committed to maintaining high service standards and a welcoming environment aligned with the hotel's brand values.
* Proficient in WH&S compliance, crisis management, and safeguarding hotel assets and guest safety.
Key Accountabilities

The Thredbo Water and Wastewater Manager is primarily responsible for assisting the Environmental Service Manager in driving continuous improvement and overseeing all functions of the Water and Wastewater operations by providing positive leadership and guidance within the Water and Wastewater department. You will be required to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the WTP operations, leading the team in completing required maintenance and inspections.
About the role
* Ensure that the WTP operation inspections and maintenance are undertaken daily, periodic testing and sample collections for the Environment Protection Authority licence as required, meter readings and all hour meter readings are recorded and entered appropriately
* Manage and coordinate the scheduled cleaning of the WTP equipment
* Manage the inspections and maintenance of all domestic and fire water supply storage tanks / inlets / pump stations and assist in carrying out minor maintenance works where required
* Assist the Environmental Services Manager in managing the cost control of the water and wastewater operation
* Assist the environmental services department in duties related to village infrastructure
* Monitor the protection of the environment where it relates to the WTP and water supply
Skills & Experience
* Certificate III Water & Waste Water or equivalent recognised qualification
* Experience in SCADA operated WTP's
* Strong communication skills and conflict resolution skills
* Previous experience and/or appropriate level of training in supervising others
* Strong customer service knowledge
* Five years in a senior plant operator role

Leisure Centre Assistant Manager
We are seeking an enthusiastic Leisure Centre Assistant Manager to support the smooth and effective daily operations of our facility. In this leadership role, you will guide and supervise staff to maintain high standards of customer service, professionalism, safety, and workplace conduct. Working closely with the Centre Manager and Supervisors, you will contribute to creating a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for all guests. You will provide ongoing leadership, coaching, and operational oversight to ensure daily tasks are completed efficiently and to an exceptional standard. A key part of this role involves assisting with the implementation of strategies aimed at improving safety, and staff engagement.
Skills & Experience
* NSW RLSSA Pool Lifeguard License (Essential)
* First Aid (HLTAID0011) & CPR certifications (Essential)
* Previous leadership experience and/or appropriate level of training in supervising others (Essential)
* Aquatic Technical Operators Certification or equivalent (Desirable)
* Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or experience in the operation/management of an Aquatic or Recreation Facility (Desirable)
* Availability on weekends is a requirement of this role.
