About the role
An exciting new opportunity has become available for a Finance Manager to join our Commercial Finance team. Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will become a trusted partner of the leadership team within our Construction division, providing financial oversight and strategic support across major infrastructure and development initiatives.
Key Accountabilities
* Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for capital projects.
* Ensure robust financial governance and compliance across all project phases.
* Provide commercial insights and financial analysis to support investment decisions.
* Support the delivery of project objectives through financial planning and risk management.
* Review and challenge capital plans, cash flow projections, and financial assumptions.
* Lead the preparation of monthly management reporting, including Capital Expenditure and Cashflow analysis compared to budget/forecasts.
About you
Your demonstrated robust previous experience as a Senior Finance Business Partner / Manager, looking after teams delivering a complex finance function within a large organsiation in a similar industry will be the key to your success in this role.
In addition to the above, you will demonstrate:
* Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Accounting as well as CA / CPA qualifications are advantageous.
* Advanced knowledge of the Finance module of an ERP (SAP preferred).
* Experience of month-end close and finance planning process.
* Strong analytical and conceptual skills.
* An ability to manage complex projects and present data/concepts in a clear manner.
* Well-developed communication skills with the ability to interact & influence stakeholders, including Senior Management / Executives.
