Job Summary
The Aviation Control Room Operator role involves managing access control and CCTV systems in a close proximity to Sydney Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for timely response and resolution of duress and other critical alarms, as well as assistance with regular testing.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage various alarms; respond promptly to resolve issues and ensure safety protocols are followed.
* Assist with access-related queries from stakeholders.
* Oversight of multiple systems including CCTV, access, evacuation, and fire systems is also required.
* Proactive monitoring of the site to identify faults and escalate issues when necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications
* A Certificate II in Security Operations and current First Aid certification are essential.
* Holding a NSW Security Licence is mandatory.
* The ideal candidate must have full working rights in Australia.
* Additionally, they must pass a Drug & Alcohol screening successfully.
* Prior experience in control room environments is highly desirable.
