Key Duties and Job Responsibilities:
As a Butcher at Eastern Halal Butcher, you will be responsible for:
* Preparing and cutting meat products according to customer requirements
* Ensuring the quality and freshness of meat through proper handling and storage techniques
* Operating and maintaining butchery equipment and machinery
* Assisting with inventory management, stock rotation, and ordering supplies
* Providing exceptional customer service by offering product recommendations and answering queries
* Maintaining a clean and organized work area in compliance with hygiene and safety standards
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Minimum 3 years experience working as a Butcher in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and their preparation techniques
* Excellent knife skills and the ability to handle butchery equipment safely
* Attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
