As the day-to-day liaison for key sponsors and stakeholders, you will be integral to building strong relationships, identifying and converting new sponsorship and corporate sales opportunities, and supporting proposal development and sales presentations.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in account management, sponsorship, or commercial partnerships, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a relationship-first approach. They will also have strong time management and organisational skills, with a keen attention to detail, and the ability to interpret and deliver contractual agreements with professionalism.

About the Role
As a Partnership Executive, you will be responsible for managing and delivering all contractual entitlements for key partners, ensuring quality, timeliness, and creativity. You will also be responsible for coordinating game day activations and sponsor entitlements, and developing and implementing innovative ideas to elevate sponsor engagement and integrate partners into the team's growing brand and community presence.
You will work closely with the General Manager and other members of the Commercial Team to identify and support opportunities to grow commercial partnerships and deliver long-term value for both the team and our sponsors.
This is a full-time position located in Townsville, QLD, requiring availability for weekend and evening work during the WNBL season. If you are a motivated and results-driven individual with a passion for sports marketing and partnership development, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sponsorship & Corporate Sales:
o Proactively contribute to the identification and conversion of new sponsorship and corporate sales opportunities across hospitality, events, and digital assets.
o Support proposal development and sales presentations that align with partner objectives.
2. Partnership Servicing:
o Manage and deliver all contractual entitlements for key partners with a focus on quality, timeliness, and creativity.
3. Relationship Management:
o Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, stakeholders, and service providers, representing the team with professionalism and enthusiasm.
4. Strategic Growth:
o Identify and support opportunities to grow commercial partnerships and deliver long-term value for both the team and our sponsors.
5. Game Day & Events:
o Coordinate and deliver game day activations and sponsor entitlements, ensuring memorable experiences for both partners and fans.
6. Reporting & Communication:
o Maintain internal reporting, and regular updates to stakeholders on partnership performance and deliverables.
7. Creative Activations:
o Develop and implement innovative ideas to elevate sponsor engagement and integrate partners into the team's growing brand and community presence.
8. Assist with other areas of the business including marketing and membership.
