About the Role
Monadelphous is seeking a high‐calibre, experienced HSE Manager to join our Engineering Construction division, supporting the delivery of a major mining and minerals project in Western Australia. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving health, safety, and environmental performance across a large‐scale, multi‐discipline project encompassing SMP and E&I scopes. The role will initially be based in the Perth office from May/June, before transitioning to site mid/late August on a 2:1 roster.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and coordinate the delivery of HSE strategies, systems, and support across the project
* Build strong partnerships with client HSE teams and provide visible, hands‐on leadership in the field
* Ensure compliance with all relevant HSE legislation, regulations, company standards, and client requirements
* Lead and support serious incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
* Analyse HSE performance data, including leading and lagging indicators, to identify trends and areas of risk
* Develop and implement initiatives to drive continuous improvement in safety performance and culture
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of HSE Advisors to support project delivery
* Provide coaching and guidance to operational leaders to strengthen safety leadership capability
* Support audits, inspections, and assurance activities across the project
What You'll Bring
* Significant experience in a senior HSE leadership role within mining, minerals, or major construction projects
* Proven track record leading HSE teams on large‐scale projects in a contractor environment
* Formal qualifications in Health, Safety & Environment
* TapRooT or equivalent incident investigation training (essential)
* Strong knowledge of Australian HSE legislation and industry standards
* Demonstrated ability to drive a positive safety culture and visible safety leadership
* Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting HSE data and trends
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all levels
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Ability to work a 2:1 FIFO roster
* Valid right to work in Australia
