Position
Profile :
Provides professional leadership, governance,
coordination and management of Occupational Therapy services at
Bunbury Hospital and Community across all clinical areas and
programs in accordance with the Occupational Therapy Board of
Australia Code of Conduct and Registration Standards, and WACHS
South West policies and guidelines.
Manages Occupational Therapy
staff, under the Director Allied Health, at Bunbury Hospital and
Community services; coordinates duties and manages performance to
ensure the delivery of efficient, effective and high-quality
Occupational Therapy services.
Provides professional support
regionally on the planning and implementation of strategic
workforce initiatives, teaching, training and research
opportunities.
Eligibility to Apply :
To be eligible for appointment, applicants must
have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an
Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and
work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent
appointments).

undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as
part of the appointment process.
As well as undertaking a criminal
record screening and integrity checking, you may also be required
to undertake a working with children check (if required for the

to comment on your integrity and past demonstration of ethical
behaviour.

Please note this recruitment
process requires completion of satisfactory Pre-Employment Health
Assessment (PEHA).
Any offer of employment with WA Country Health
Service (WACHS) is conditional on satisfactory PEHA to ensure you
are able to perform the inherent requirements of the position.
An
unsatisfactory PEHA will result in the offer of employment being
withdrawn.
Please see the attached WACHS PEHA Policy for further this selection process will initially be used to
fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar"
vacancies throughout the health service.
In addition to this,
should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised
vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected
from this process.
Both of these options remain valid for a period
of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses
the recruitment decision.
This is a Fixed Term
opportunity while the substantive occupant is on a period of
Parental Leave.

Bridgetown, Collie, Donnybrook, Harvey, Margaret River, Nannup,
Northcliffe, Pemberton and Warren.
