Information & Administrative Services Officer

Location: Port Fairy with hybrid working arrangements available

Hours: Monthly RDO

Overview

The successful applicant will assist with the administration and lifecycle management of Moyne Shire Council's electronic and hardcopy records, ensuring digitisation and registration activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and practices.

Responsibilities

- Assist with administration and lifecycle management of electronic and hardcopy records.
- Ensure digitisation and registration activities comply with established procedures and practices.

Qualifications

Essential

- Current driver licence
- Employee working with children check

Desirable

- Completion of Diploma of Recordkeeping or related qualifications, or equivalent experience
- Willingness to undertake further study to gain formal recordkeeping qualifications

Experience

Essential

Demonstrated experience and skills in current records management principles and practices, including knowledge of records management legislation and standards.

Desirable

Practical knowledge of local government functions and operations is preferable.

Key selection criteria

1. Experience in using an EDRMS to capture and manage both electronic and hardcopy records.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) with strong computer and keyboard skills.
3. Demonstrated experience and skills in current records management principles and practices, including knowledge of records management legislation and standards.
