**About the Role:**
This position is responsible for assisting the Executive Chef/Sous Chef with kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen and strong knowledge of food safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervision of the kitchen in the absence of the Executive and Sous Chefs.
* Assistance with menu preparation and inventory management.
* Liaison with Restaurant team members regarding menu availability and changes.
* Maintenance of excellent presentation standards and cost control.
* Adherence to cleanliness and organization standards.
Requirements:
* Trade qualification with relevant experience.
* Sound knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
* Strong product knowledge and passion for presentation.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Flexibility to work rotating shifts including mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
