We are seeking an organised Accounts & Administration Officer to support the financial and administrative operations of our business.

The Role – Accounts & Administration Officer

This role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business while assisting with general office administration tasks.

You will work closely with management and office staff to ensure accounts and financial records are maintained accurately.

Key Responsibilities

Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable

Preparing and issuing invoices

Reconciling supplier accounts

Assisting with payroll preparation and timesheet processing

Maintaining accurate financial records

Processing purchase orders and supplier invoices

Supporting job costing and project financial tracking

General office administration and support

Assisting management with financial reporting where required

Contacting Debtors for payments.

Personal Attributes

Strong attention to detail

Highly organised with excellent time management

Professional communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work both independently and within a team

Reliable, proactive and trustworthy

Minimum Requirements

Previous experience in accounts or finance administration

Experience with accounting software (Xero, MYOB or similar)

Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Good understanding of bookkeeping principles

Experience in the construction or trades industry advantageous

Experience with Simpro or job management software beneficial

Must have Australian work rights
