Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled professional to operate a fuel tanker truck and deliver fuel to aircraft at the Darwin RAAF base. As a key player in the Defence Industry, you will be part of a team that supports the Australian Defence Force across various locations nationwide.
Responsibilities:
* Operate fuel tanker truck around the fuel installation and defence base
* Work closely with operator to safely load your fuel tank truck with required fuel
* Deliver the fuel to designated fuel point, such as refuelling point or aircraft on the runway
* Operate pumps on tanker truck to ensure effective delivery of fuel to aircraft
* Communicate with internal and external teams for good customer experience
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* MC/HC Drivers Licence and Dangerous Goods Handling Licence
* Proven experience operating heavy vehicles is essential
* Experience in the fuel service and/or defence industry highly regarded
* Good communicator and ability to work in diverse team
* Current holder, or ability to obtain relevant security clearances
