Dining Assistant
At our healthcare facility, we are seeking a skilled Dining Assistant to play a vital role in delivering exceptional culinary services to our residents. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, maintaining a clean and safe dining environment, and providing excellent customer service to our residents and their families.
* Meal Preparation: Assist in preparing and serving meals that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
* Maintaining Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen and dining area, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.
* Resident Interaction: Engage with residents during mealtime, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The successful candidate will have:
* Certification in Food Safety: Completion of food safety training or certification, often required by local health regulations.
* Previous Experience: Previous experience in food service or a kitchen environment, especially in aged care, is highly desirable.
* Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills to interact effectively with residents, staff, and visitors.
