As a leading voice in the sector, Dementia Australia influences national policy and drives awareness, while continuing to evolve its services to meet growing and changing community needs.The Opportunity Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, the Executive Director, People & Culture will lead the organisation's people strategy and capability during a period of ongoing transformation. Working closely with the CEO and Executive, the role will drive alignment between strategy, structure and workforce capability, ensuring the organisation is well positioned to deliver on its strategic priorities. A key focus will be supporting the embedding of recent organisational change, strengthening leadership capability, and lifting organisational effectiveness through improved systems, processes and ways of working. The role will also play a critical part in shaping a high‐performing, values‐led culture, while balancing the need for operational efficiency and sustainable growth.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport organisational design, workforce planning and change initiativesStrengthen leadership capability across the organisationDrive improvements in systems, processes and workforce dataOversee industrial relations and all relevant compliance frameworksAbout you You are a senior People & Culture leader based in Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra or Sydney with experience operating at executive level in complex, regulated, multi‐site organisations. You bring strong commercial judgement and a focus on organisational effectiveness, with experience strengthening systems, processes and workforce capability to improve performance. You will also have a sound understanding of regulated environments, compliance and continuous improvement.
